Most of our work is specialized in remodels, basement finishing, and general contracting work, but we also offer a wide range of expertise for a variety of other projects. About Steve

Steve Ross, owner of PennRaised Contracting, was born in Southern Chester County in West Grove and was raised here in the area his entire life. After going away to college for a little bit, he was determined to return to make a difference in the community. His inspiration was his parents, who were active in the community. After his dad retired from the Marine Corp and Dupont, he started his own successful painting company that inspired PennRaised Construction.

So after some convincing his wife Julie, of 12 years, they moved back to Pennsylvania due to Steve’s love of this community and how proud he is of it. Needless to say, it’s grown on Julie quite a bit! Not only is it the place Steve loves to be, but he also treasures the time that he gets to spend with friends and people he grew up with and knows how special it is to see his three children have a childhood similar to his.
